Trauma Assessment

Upon successful completion of this module, the EMS provider should be able to: Understand what the mechanism of injury is and the information it provides Describe assessment and treatment appropriate for the patient with traumatic insult Tension pneumothorax, sucking chest wound, flail chest, eviscerated organs, Successfully identify the landmark and perform chest needle decompression, and Actively participate in trauma scenario discussion
