Emergency Medical Responder
At the completion to this program the student will be able to describe roles of EMS in healthcare system and demonstrate professional attributes expected of EMRs. The student will apply principles of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, life-span development and therapeutic communications to assessment and management of patients appropriately. The students will also identify the need for and perform lifesaving interventions and apply principles of emergency medical services to several circumstances.
